Downstream Accommodation was founded with the vision of providing budget-friendly lodging in a serene environment. Nestled beside the Groot Marico River, our establishment has grown from a simple idea into a popular getaway for nature lovers and pet owners. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings, creating comfortable self-service lodges and campsites that embrace the beauty of the surrounding landscape while ensuring a warm welcome for all our guests.

Our vision is to create a sustainable environment by becoming self sufficient and to provide employment, fresh organic fruit, vegetables and free range eggs to the community. The Groot Marico River is one of the last remaining free-flowing rivers in the country and has a vast impact as it feeds the Limpopo river and provides water to South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
